Farm Credit Services Raises $845 at Glenburn Tailgate!

Minot, ND - September 1st, 2017

Farm Credit Services (FCS) and the Glenburn Panthers “teamed up” this high school football season and took charge of their “Home Field Advantage” with a Tailgate Party.

FCS set up their “tailgate” at the Glenburn High School football field parking lot on Thursday, August 24, 2017. For $5.00 game-goers could purchase a hamburger or hotdog, chips and pop. All proceeds, $845, are being donated to the Glenburn Athletic Department. FCS also tossed tailgate tour t-shirts and footballs to the fans in the stands.

“It was a great night for football in Glenburn and we had fun tailgating with the fans,” says Kevin DeGree, Loan Officer with Farm Credit Services. “We raised quite a few dollars for the Glenburn Athletic Boosters and we are excited of the overall success we’ve had all these years raising money for school organizations,” he adds. In the past fourteen years Farm Credit Services has donated over $68,000 to designated school organizations as a result of the tailgate tours.

Farm Credit Services of North Dakota proudly supports the students, families and communities in the 17 northwest counties we serve through branch offices in Minot, Bottineau, Carrington, Crosby, Rugby and Williston. FCS offers farm operating, equipment and real estate loans, crop insurance and a variety of financial services and products including special programs for young and beginning farmers.

The ultimate goal is to provide them with a “Home Field Advantage."
