Farm Credit Services Raises $925 at Velva Tailgate!

Minot, ND - September 5th, 2017

Farm Credit Services (FCS) and the Velva Aggies “teamed up” and took charge of their “Home Field Advantage” hosting another successful Tailgate Party.

FCS set up their “tailgate” at the Velva High School football field on Friday, August 25, 2017. For $5.00 game-goers could purchase a hamburger or hotdog, chips and pop. All proceeds, $925, are being donated to Velva Athletics. FCS also tossed tailgate tour t-shirts and footballs to the fans in the stands.

“We had awesome football weather and we had a great time grilling for all the fans. We were able to help raise a substantial amount of money for Velva Athletics,” says Scott Hodenfield, Loan Officer with Farm Credit Services. “We are very proud of the success we’ve had raising money for school organizations. In the past fourteen years we have donated almost $68,000 as a result of the FCS Pat-NOW tailgate tour,” he adds.

Farm Credit Services of North Dakota proudly supports the students, families and communities in the 17 northwest counties we serve through branch offices in Minot, Bottineau, Carrington, Crosby, Rugby and Williston.
