Six area high school seniors have each been awarded a $1000 scholarship from Farm Credit Services
of North Dakota.
Ethan Arnold – Harvey, Mariah Braasch – Minot, Jaxon Fike – Bowdon, David Scheresky – Des Lacs, Grace Schmitt – Rugby and Bo Thingvold – Columbus,
were chosen for their outstanding scholastic and leadership achievements during high school. Selection was based on academic record, personal attributes,
vocational promise, leadership and financial need. Applicants were also required to be from an actively farming and/or ranching family, or planning to pursue
a career in farming or some aspect of agriculture.

The two independent Farm Credit Services associations headquartered in Minot and Mandan - with branch offices in various locations throughout western ND,
award scholarships annually to students entering college in the fall. This year the two associations awarded a total of 10 scholarships totaling $10,000.
