Farm Credit Services of ND Elects Board Members
(MINOT, ND) -- Stockholders of Farm Credit Services of North Dakota, ACA elected two directors and five nominating committee members during the recent election period ending August 5, 2019.
Bryan Ankenbauer, Bowbells, ND was re-elected to the Board of Directors for a four-year term and Tim Dwyer, Sidney, MT was newly elected to the Board of Directors for a four-year term. Stockholders also re-elected Mark Birdsall – Berthold, Alan Effertz – Velva, Dean Schoenberg – Mohall, and Robert Schaefer – Glenburn, and newly elected Jeff Oberholtzer – Mohall, for one-year terms on the nominating committee.
The current agriculture economy, commodity prices, and related trade disputes are creating challenges for agriculture. Nevertheless, “Farm Credit Services of ND continues its commitment to assist producers in growing their agricultural legacy and supporting rural communities,” says Gordon Hanson, CEO. “Our top priorities are to deliver constructive credit and crop insurance, keep interest rates as low as possible, and provide value-added expertise and service,” added Hanson.
Farm Credit Services is a member-owned agricultural cooperative providing loans to farmers and ranchers for real estate, machinery, livestock, and operating needs. FCS also offers life & disability and crop insurances to the rural community.
