Farm Credit Services (FCS) and the South Prairie Royals “teamed up” this year for their first “Home Field Advantage” Tailgate Party.
FCS set up their “tailgate” at the South Prairie High School football field on Monday, August 27, 2018. For $5.00 game-goers could purchase a hamburger or hotdog, chips and pop. All proceeds, $750, are being donated to the South Prairie Athletic Department. FCS also gave out tailgate tour t-shirts and footballs to the fans.
“We had a great time barbequing for the fans – even in the rain!! And thanks to the dedicated fans we were able to raise a lot of money for the South Prairie Athletic Department,” says Darrel Loftesnes, Loan Officer with Farm Credit Services. “We are very proud of the success we’ve had raising money for these school organizations and are excited to be a part of these local community events,” he adds.
Total to date, in our sixteenth year, Farm Credit Services has donated over $74,000 to designated school organizations in our territory as a result of the tailgate tours.
Farm Credit Services of North Dakota proudly supports the students, families and communities in the 17 northwest counties we serve through branch offices in Minot, Bottineau, Carrington, Crosby, Rugby and Williston. FCS offers farm operating, equipment and real estate loans, crop insurance and a variety of financial services and products including special programs for young and beginning farmers.
The ultimate goal is to provide them with a “Home Field Advantage.”
